Dangerous Rock
Crystal Kaswell
(Dangerous Noise #3)
Publication date: March 30th 2017
Genres: New Adult, Romance

I’m married to a rock star.
And I don’t even know his last name.

Bella

There’s a tall, tattooed man in my bed.
Not any tall, tattooed man.
He’s a rock star.
A sex god.
And now he’s my husband.
Last night, I married Joel.
It’s ridiculous. I’m a good girl. I don’t get into trouble. I don’t look twice at bad boys.
I can’t stay married to a rock star.
But there’s something about Joel. Not just the way his green eyes light up when he smiles, or the way he makes me laugh, or the way he makes me shake with pleasure–
I’m not sure I can walk away.

Joel

Bella Chase is a challenge.
With the tight bun and the cute cardigan, she’s as prim and proper as they come.
My only plan for the night is getting her under me, screaming my name.
Filling her with so much pleasure she begs me to stop.
I didn’t plan on marrying her.
But now that she’s my wife, I’m not about to let her go.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an ARC of Dangerous Rock provided by Xpresso Book Tours and the author. Thank you for the reviewing opportunity!

This is my first book by Crystal Kaswell, and while I love all types of romances, I binge hard on rockstar romance in particular. There is something about men in bands and tattoos that seems to push all of my buttons. Plus, that steamy hot cover? Who can resist that?!

Hormonal opinion aside.

Joel and Bella's romance is your typical What-happened-in-Vegas story, but what stood out for me was the imperfections. I love Joel for standing by Bella even though she is far from perfect, supporting her although she was undecided and flunking her law school exams. I can relate to Bella because I am also at a point in life trying to decide which path that I should take, so reading from her perspective was something that hit close to home.

The only downside was the sex scenes, or rather, the extent of it. I do enjoy a good, romantic bedroom session, but too much of something tend to feel like it has been shoved forcefully in front of you, juuust like an overplayed song on the radio. I love their intense chemistry, but I would also love to read more on their emotional growth.

Quick, fun and loads of steam! Definitely, will keep a lookout for the rest of the series.

Crystal Kaswell writes scorching hot new adult romance. When she isn’t writing, she is chain drinking tea, binge watching Law and Order, practicing yoga, or debating which fictional character would be the best in bed. She lives in Portland, OR with her husband.

  1. I love rockstar romances too! There's just something about the lifestyle and all the hotness! xD Glad you liked it, Natasha! This sounds like a well written, character driven read!
